Large-Scale Corruption (governments, corporations, organized crime) is the origin of all serious and fundamental global problems, either directly or indirectly:

- war and terrorism, organized crime and violence, traficking of weapons, drugs, people and animals;
- violation of human rights, exploitation of human and natural resources, the false "crisis";
- famine, contamination, deforestation, extinction of species, destruction of nature in general, climate change, global warming.

Corruption is basically financed and thus allowed, maintained and stimulated by the existence of BANK SECRECY (BLACK Money)!

To eradicate Corruption, it is essential to Abolish Bank Secrecy and bring down that opaque, secondary money system as a whole, so that the Financial Pirates of today, at least can't dispose of their Treasure Islands where to hide their Loot anymore.

Independency Project is in the first place concerned in finding, inventing and sharing all possible ways that can, directly or indirectly, lead to the total abolition of Bank Secrecy and Offshore "banking" (Tax Havens - Treasure Islands).

Corruption is a large chain that starts at the top (Tax Havens and Banks) and then spreads throughout all global society.

Let it be clear that we consider Lobbyism as nothing else than some legally allowed form of corruption, in much the same way as Offshore "banking" somehow seems to be considered legal by a few.

Modern 'Progress' as brought about by the profit-obsessed Corporations and Large Industry, with their insatiable need to always produce and sell more, has led society not only to:

corruption, war, crime, violation of human rights, poverty, famine, disease, enslavement of populations, contamination of environment, deforestation, extinction of species, destruction of nature and global warming,

but also to:

competetive possession-and-consumption-obsessed individuals and a morally and ethicly degraded society.

The degradation of society by productionism and publicity is excelently exposed in the Spanish documentary: Consume hasta Morir (Consume until you die.)

Large Industry dominates the world nowadays.
Supported and stimulated by Tax Havens, banks and stock exchange, on one hand, they exert pressure on governments, while, on the other hand, they manipulate the 'ordinary' citizens through Main Stream Media (MSM). Thanks to this double grip, multinational corporations determine how the world works.

However, the only thing large industry really has achieved is to bring 'progress' or 'wealth' to a (minor) part of the world, only by the 'grace' of exploiting and destroying another (greater) part of the world - both in a geographical as human (number of people) sense.

The Media were originally supposed to objectively inform everyday citizens as well as to be an alterative entertainment option within a broad range of possible choices.

However, global Main Stream Media (MSM) are in the hands of or dominated by the ruling OWO elite minority itself. For them MSM has no other function than maintaining the "masses" as distracted and as un-critical as possible, so they can keep ruling the world more unnoticedly. MSM is subject to their sensorship and will only emit information that previously has been allowed or imposed by OWO. So the news is filtered and brought down to what is unavoidable, or what does not put them in danger. It is interpreted and told in a way that best benefits them and programs are selected or even made, based on how they want to influence the audience according to their preferences.

Industrial Revolution "the OWO way" started around 1800 in Britain and has lead us at full speed to a self-destructing type of "Progress" (magnificently expressed - from and individual's standpoint - in Charlie Chaplin's visionary Modern Times - and in fact none has changed ever since) that is purely based on using workers as mere extensions of the machinery and exhausting the once rich, but ever shrinking, natural resources, to convert them into an ever growing pile of useless but harmful waist.

This process is profoundly disrespectfull and cowardly, since it directly attacks and destroys something as innocent and defenseless as nature itself.
