Il "New World Order" e la confusione cospirazionale

Secondo la maggior parte dei fonti, il termine New World Order (Nuovo Ordine Mondiale - NOM) corrisponderebbe alle teorie della cospirazione globale, che parlano di alcune élite di potere segreti con una "agenda globale" e l'intenzione di governare il mondo attraverso un governo mondiale autoritario. Eh beh...

E 'più che evidente che, certamente, alcuni cespugli (Bushes) bramano questo, o qualche Goldmen Suckers o Nonsantos o uno qualsiasi di questi menti egoisti e miopi del Vecchio Ordine Mondiale avido, ipocrita, orientato ai soldi e al profitto, ma non crediamo assolutamente che essi, le élite esistenti, prendendo sempre più (in realtà, pieno) controllo, possano essere considerati qualcosa di 'nuovo' per cominciare, e meno di un 'Ordine Mondiale Nuovo'. In ogni caso, sarebbe solo un passo di più dello stesso VECCHIO Ordine Mondiale ritardato, nel percorso esistente che presumibilmente stanno già seguendo verso la piena dominazione del mondo.

This ambition for total control is, in fact, the one and only true characteristic of OLD and Old World Order: this ridiculous and insatiable strive to become the small ruling elite (makes no difference who, why, when, where or how exactly), that would dominate the vast majority of mankind, which then essentially would be working for them, either or not consciously enslaved.

This lust for dominance is by definition "OLD" and, obviously, there is no way that the backward people rooted in that Old World Order concept, can even pretend to proclaim anything 'NEW' like a 'New World Order'. It would just be plain contradiction in concept. 
So, no Bushes, no Bilderbergs, no Rothschilds, no banks, no corporation, no religion nor any other collective superstition, myth or childlishly secretive group like Templars, lluminati, Satan worshippers or Freemasons, none of these can ever pretend to be the cradle of anything 'NEW', at most they could bring forth some additional step within the OLD!

New World Order 2.0 - a new understanding, new values, new priorities

However, to take some distance from that wide spread erratic vision of "New World Order" (say: 1.0), it may have sense to apply the term New World Order 2.0 in analogy with and support of the term Democracy 2.0, as already used by some political parties and movements (at least in Europe). With some frequency these movements apply alternative terms like Consciousness, Awareness, Awakening or Oneness which we consider to all fit in NWO2.0, even if some of them still seem to have a certain hierarchic, pyramidal OWO-religious or sekt-like inclination after all. More radical currents use directly the term Revolution or Anti-something. In general we find that any philosophy that seeks an alternative to the current materialistic, competetive, planet & human exploiting, possession-production-profit-power oriented society may be considered an (partial) expression of New World Order 2.0.

Independency Project believes more in an evolutionairy (although fast, please) change, than in a drastic turnover, since history has clearly shown, that most Revolutions, in fact, end up being the same OWO mechanism again, but just under control of "the others". We think polarization is not a useful or valid framework. However we do definitely think that Humanity has reached a crossroad moment and that there are roughly two options for all of us:

1. We continue along that same old road: 
   an economy and competition dominated society based on artificial "growth", measured in purely abstract values like money and profit, and fully dependant on ever increasing personal and collective consumption, where an arbitrary and very reduced group of human beings can be "worth" million times more than a large group of other human beings (expressed in the OWO criterium of money of course).
   This small elite seems to want us to exhaust and destroy all natural resources in the name of "Progress", until we simply use up our planet within this or the next generation, while heading at ever increasing speed toward that wall that awaits us at the end of this dead end street they are driving us in.
   
   
   
2. We change:
   towards a collective and collaborative society based on sufficiency and recovery (so, quite more than just sustainability) where every human being is "worth" more or less the same and we live in harmony and balance with each other and specially our natural environment, allowing us to continue to develop, and maybe even evolve, as a whole, independent and free from restrictions or obligations as still imposed in current 'modern' society by sex, race, nation, religion or money.

The Zeitgeist Movement recognizes that issues such as poverty, corruption, collapse, homelessness, war, starvation and the like appear to be "Symptoms" born out of an outdated social structure. While intermediate Reform steps and temporal Community Support are of interest to The Movement, the defining goal here is the installation of a new socioeconomic model based upon technically responsible Resource Management, Allocation and Distribution through what would be considered The Scientific Method of reasoning problems and finding optimized solutions.
